Ladybugs

kernsville's journal describing his and Mel's ordeal in the hospital contained little asides that Chris used to amuse himself while waiting for this or that test result, including a tale of a few ladybugs that decided the hospital might be a nice place to stay. They died.

Well...

My boyfriend's old farm house is seriously infested with ladybugs. I got on the internet to see what advice there was for getting rid of them without pesticides. The main advice is: seal up the cracks and crevices.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

AAAND...turns out that ladybugs, when they find a nice place to hole up for the winter, or as it stands now, all year long, they send out phermones that other ladybugs can smell for 1/4 of a mile away, "Hey, guys. C'mon over! This place is great!"

As Ladybugs are considered 'good bugs', I have a hard time imagining an infestation. That's kind of crazy.

Chris's entry was epic. I've not quite yet decided on a comment that is worthy of the awesomeness of the storytelling of nightmare visit.

They're harmless, although the Asian ones that have been introduced can bite.

But I'm talking about hundreds, everywhere, every day. It's not a big deal, as they don't attack people, but one occasionally ends up in your dinner. ;P

There is no comment to match the awesomeness of Chris' storytelling.
