A Gay Football Player?

Some in the NFL think that a gay football player would be too much of a distraction. Because they have never had anything distracting happen before, right, Michael Vick?

Someone needs to introduce the term "concern trolling" into interviews with these good-hearted souls. ;-)

I was thinking more of the idea these people don't seem to understand people with any online savvy recognize it and put that term with it - and a lot tend to dismiss anything that sounds like it as stupid. (Sort of like how when the Teabaggers chose that name rather proudly years ago, they had no clue why people were laughing their butts off about it.)

Rather eloquent for this Dallas sportscaster. And for this guy....very insightful! http://twentytwowords.com/dallas-sportscasters-shocking-response-to-michael-sam-

I liked the way he called out the NFL's hypocrisy on this by simply stating actual examples. No screaming, no hyperbole, not even any names named, just examples even non football fans have heard of.

The fact that there are plenty of examples to choose from just makes this argument all the more ridiculous.
