There Is Hope For Some On the Far Right

The fact is, Bill O'Reilly isn't quite as far-right as the majority of the pundants on Fox Noise. Once in awhile, he actually questions a far-right opinion as wrong-headed. Here, he questions the One Million Moms' demand that J.C. Penny fire Ellen DeGeneres, simply because she is gay.

(Oh, by the way, there is a bill stalled in Congress, nicknamed ENDA - The Employment Non-Discrimination Act - that would actually make it illegal to fire someone based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Because right now, it IS LEGAL! [although there is a difference between something being legally wrong and something being morally wrong, know what I mean?])

Even though I actually agree with what he's saying, he still pisses me off, with constantly cutting people off and having a really confrontational tone. I guess that's the only reason why people tune in, though.

I thought he actually gave her lots of time to speak. In his defense, there is a limited time to get to the points he wants to touch on, and if she goes off on a tangent and avoids his question, I'm glad he stops her and brings her back on point.

Politicians are good at avoiding questions and steering the conversation to where they want it, and too many "journalists" let them do it.

Sean Hannity is the one I've seen on Faux who is an outright bully when it comes to interrupting people. He asks a question, then interrupts them right away before they can begin to answer it.
